Undergraduate Students
Welcome
Welcome to the School of Languages and Cultures. The School currently offers degree programmes in Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish.
In addition to languages the School also offers related culture courses, and stresses the importance of the mutually influential relationship between language and culture.
The School is proud of its range and diversity. Its goals include the advancement and dissemination of academically rigorous knowledge in its fields of language and culture as well as linguistics, and thereby it aims to contribute positively to the growing internationalisation of our age.
It is possible to do a language as part of most degrees, but our principal degree is the Bachelor of Arts. Currently we offer majors in Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish.
